This 3D scanned asset represents a finely weathered stone belt element, sourced from the Holy Church of the Ascension of the Lord in Gaios, Paxos - one of the Ionian Islands of Greece. The detail and age embedded in the material make it a strong addition for realistic Mediterranean or ecclesiastical architectural scenes.

Captured using photogrammetry with a Nikon Z6II + 105mm macro lens, reconstructed in Reality Capture, and optimized in InstaLOD. Cleaned, retopologized, and textured with InstaMAT, and rendered in Blender for visualization.

This asset is part of a larger ongoing initiative to digitally preserve historic materials and elements from across Europe, focusing on fidelity and storytelling potential for 3D environments.
